MASTERS a favore del progetto "Health for everyone"

Il progetto medico umanitario della TILICHO viene esteso nel 2005, grazie al suggerimento ed al supporto di Ang Tsering Sherpa, General Manager della Yeti Airlines, al Distretto di Dolpo, il più povero del Nepal, in area remota e lontana dal turismo. Il progetto a lungo termine della Tilicho Ong/Onlus “Health For Everyone” si occupa anche di sviluppare, nelle zone di attività, un turismo eco-compatibile e solidale, di incentivare le coltivazioni, la protezione delle biodiversità e delle risorse idriche, e di quanto altro sia di aiuto alle popolazioni locali, nel rispetto delle tradizioni locali e nella tutela dell'ambiente. La costruzione del primo ospedale Italiano in Nepal, dotato di camera operatoria anche per urgenze neurochirurgiche, è l'obiettivo finale. Nel frattempo cercheremo di aiutare le strutture esistenti, tra le quali il Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), la Sagarmatha Health Foundation, e la Clinica dei Rifugiati Tibetani a Swayambhunath. Ogni anno verranno esaminati, in base alle valutazioni che effettueremo sul territorio, progetti di intervento e ricerche, che saranno realizzati nelle spedizioni dell'anno successivo. The humanitarian and medical aid program Tilicho Medical Research Expedition was extended , in september of 2005, to include the District of Dolpo, thanks to the suggestion and support given by Mr. Ang Tsering Sherpa, General Manager of Yeti Airlines. Dolpo is one of the poorest corners of one of the poorest countries on earth, in a remote area. The long term project Tilicho Medical Research Expedition is also concerned, there where it is actively involved, with the development of an environmentally compatible joint-tourism, and the creation of cultivation incentives aimed at enhancing the bio-diversity of the zone, and improving the area's hydric-resources, together with whatever else may be of assistance to the population, always keeping in mind however respect of their traditions and tutelage of the environment. The construction of the first Italian Hospital in Nepal, endowed with an operating room even for neurosurgical urgencies, it is our final aim. In the meantime we will try to aid the present organizations, among which the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), the Sagarmatha Health Foundation, and the Tibetan Refugees clinic in Swayambhunath. Year by year, medical-humanitarian aid project and researches are carried on and improved till their conclusion, and then new ones begin.
